August’s Adult Fan of LEGO^® (AFOL) Night at our LEGO^® Certified Store (LCS) in Suntec City was nothing short of spectacular. This time, we built, laughed, and celebrated together with a uniquely Singaporean twist—because the theme was none other than SG60!

EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW OF UPCOMING SEPTEMBER LAUNCHES

AFOLs got an exciting first look at some incredible September sets before they officially hit the shelves. From wizarding wonders to Gotham’s dark secrets and sneaker showstoppers, here’s what made jaws drop during the preview:

ROUND 1: SPEED BUILD CHALLENGE

We kicked off the night with a patriotic twist—a Merlion Speed Build Challenge!
Teams raced against the clock to construct the Singapore’s iconic Merlion. Bricks flew, strategies clashed, and creativity roared as AFOLs put their building skills (and national pride) on full display.

One team’s Merlion stood tallest and proudest, earning them the coveted top spot and a Large Pick a Brick Cup advantage for the grand finale. But don’t worry—every team walked away with a Small Pick a Brick Cup to gear up for the final Diorama Challenge.

ROUND 2: TRIVIA QUIZ

Next, it was brains over bricks as teams tackled a round of trivia designed to test their knowledge of Singapore’s history, culture, and LEGO® fun facts. With a Joker card in play, strategy was just as important as knowledge—teams doubled their points, crossed their fingers, and fought for trivia glory.

In the end, one sharp-thinking team clinched the win and walked away with a Large Pick a Brick Cup, while the others stocked up with Small Pick a Brick Cups to keep the creativity flowing.

ROUND 3: DIORAMA CHALLENGE

The night’s big finale was the SG60 Diorama Challenge. Teams had 30 minutes to create a build using only the bricks from their Pick a Brick Cups, with the theme celebrating Singapore’s 60^th birthday.

From dazzling skyline tributes to heartfelt mini-scenes of daily life in Singapore, the creativity on display was nothing short of amazing. Each diorama told a unique story of what SG60 meant to our AFOLs, making it a tough call for the judges.

PRIZES & GIVEAWAYS GALORE

After all the building fun, it was time for some well-earned rewards. The standout diorama team walked away with the LEGO^® Birthday Numbers (40807) set—perfect for celebrating milestones in style.

And of course, no AFOL Night is complete without some fabulous take-home treasures! Every participant received a special goodie bag packed with Vehicle Water Bottle, LEGO^® City Go-Kart Racer (30314), plus an LCS Bricks World Voucher. A little something to keep the creativity flowing long after the night ended!
